Hang is a local optometrist at CT Eye Care in Newtown. Inspired by her daughter, Maia, she founded this nonprofit to foster belonging, purpose, and opportunity for individuals with special abilities. She dreamed of a future where Maia — and others like her — feel safe, included, valued, and empowered to thrive. This space is her way of building that future: a community where everyone belongs.

Through her love of coffee, Hang envisioned more than a café. It’s a welcoming gathering place where skills grow, inclusion thrives, and families come together to connect and truly feel at home.
